Exceptional artistry radiates from every inch of this hand-knotted Pak Persian Sarouk, where New Zealand wool at 250 knots per square inch combine to create stunning clarity of pattern rarely seen outside museum collections. The warm rose field glows with life, adorned with an elegant central medallion that blooms outward in concentric layers of navy blue, burgundy, and aqua florals, each petal and leaf rendered with remarkable precision. What distinguishes Sarouk design is the masterful distribution of floral sprays across the field: graceful bouquets in powder blue, deep navy, and coral seem to float in symmetrical arrangement, their curved stems and delicate blossoms creating movement without chaos. Corner spandrels echo the medallion's palette and form, anchoring the composition with classical balance. The ivory border provides luminous contrast, densely packed with traditional palmettes, rosettes, and vine work in burgundy, navy, and coral that demonstrate the weaver's extraordinary skill. New Zealand wool brings superior luster and resilience, while cotton foundation threads ensure structural perfection. This is the caliber of craftsmanship that transforms a house into a home with soul.

Story Behind the Art Hand-knotted rugs are Pakistan's second-largest cottage and small industry that began as early as the 11th century under the Mughal rule. The craftsmen have the capacity to produce any type of rug using all the popular motifs of guls, medallions, paisleys (botehs), traceries, and geometric designs in various combinations .But the Pak Persian rugs are a quality best defined by their 16 by 18 KPSI count yielding over 288 kpsi or the common 300 KPSI quality which makes them exceptionally dense and enduring for high traffic area. Initially produced to address the vacuum when the US stopped trading with Iran in the 1970s, these rugs have persisted and are quite popular due to their superior weaving and array of design choices.
