This rug is gorgeous - thick enough to feel cushy without a pad, very beautifully detailed, and well made. The colors are a bit more muted than in the online photo. That was not a problem for me but might be if you are looking for a bright red like the photo shows. Oriental Rugs of Houston was wonderful to work with - even FaceTiming me so that I could see the rug before buying and super, super quick shipping! I would absolutely purchase from them again. Overall - love my rug and experience!

Great rug. I love the way it looks and it's nice and thick. I had concerns having never ordered a rug from on line before. I took a chance as this rug is so beautiful. It came quickly, in a box, lays flat, no smells, no excessive shedding(hardly any actually!!) I bought a new vacuum with an ON/OFF brush roll switch so that I can just use suction on this rug. I do want it to last and last as I'm sure it will. And customer service was above and beyond. I sent messages daily for 6 days before ordering with quick response. I was surprised to get an immediate message even on New Year's Day! I have since ordered a hallway runner and several rug pads as well.

I absolutely love my new rug. The colors are rich, exactly as expected, and it's thick enough to be comfortable to walk on. I just put it down, so hopefully it will lay flatter after it's been laying down a bit. Note that the pad was a couple inches bigger than the rug even taking into account the wrinkles, so be prepared to have to cut it. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.
