Drawing inspiration from classical Chobi weaving traditions, this superfine transitional rug displays a soft allover repeat of subtle floral rosettes and geometric trelliswork. Skilled artisans hand-knot premium wool over a strong cotton warp, building a low, dense pile engineered for natural durability and stain resistance. Soothing aqua blue tones, earthy brown accents, and gentle beige botanicals wash across a pale ivory field, offering a quiet, organic elegance that effortlessly elevates contemporary and classic interiors alike.

Chobi rugs have a rich lineage rooted in Persian, Turkman and Afghan cultures. Woven in the Peshawar region of Pakistan, these rugs reflect the rugged terrain they are manufactured in. In fact, the word “Chobi” signifies colors of wood. So, it is highly significant that the majority of Chobi rugs have brownish hue. This rug has been made with vegetable dye and finest quality of hand-spun lanolin rich wool. It is the use of such vegetable dyes that give Chobi Peshawar their distinctive abrash quality (gently wavering shades of color across the pile), and their distinctive character.
