Inspired by the bold lines of stained glass and the Arts & Crafts movement, this hand-knotted Oushak rug from the Loom Bloom collection is a graceful blend of old-world charm and artful design. Sculpted blue branches stretch across a warm beige field, framing oversized light gold leaves and blooming rosettes in rust and blush. A rust-red inner frame anchors the composition, while a lively border of vines, blossoms, and green-and-blue scrollwork wraps it all together. Expertly hand-knotted from soft, durable wool with a 0.6" pile height, it offers a plush feel underfoot with a subtle, lustrous texture that catches the light. The muted, sun-washed palette brings warmth and character to living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms,
or entryways, pairing beautifully with traditional, transitional, farmhouse, and craftsman-style interiors.

Story Behind the Art: Our LoomBloom Oushak Collection is a homage to the superlative craftsmanship and timeless elegance of Turkish Oushak rugs of yore. Our Indo-Oushak rugs are knotted with the same type of knot known as the "Ghiordes knot" (or Turkish knot) that is used in the original Oushak rugs of old. Such a knotting method allows for a denser and more durable weave which is less likely to shed over time compared to other knotting styles. Our rugs incorporate the distinctive medallions floral motifs and geometric patterns characteristic of traditional Oushak rugs but with a contemporary twist. The designs are often hybrid and the rugs feature varied palettes and vibrant colors. Like their original counterparts our Oushak rugs are highly versatile and functional to hold their own in diverse decor styles.
