The runner features a luminous faded mint field left largely open in the classic Savonnerie manner, its expansive, uncluttered ground drawing the eye directly to a single central medallion rendered in soft ivory, blush, and aqua, its lobed cartouche form filled with a densely packed arrangement of roses and foliage that sits at the exact center of the composition with quiet, assured formality. Flanking the medallion above and below are paired bird motifs in the same muted tones, their presence adding a gentle narrative quality to an otherwise purely ornamental design.
