Our Oushak rug is hand-knotted from bamboo silk and has a warm, glossy glow from caramel gold and cream damask scrolls. Leafy ogee shapes repeat across the surface in a soft, tone-on-tone pattern. The caramel shapes blend smoothly into the cream ground, so nothing looks harsh. The silky fibers catch the light and shift in color, and the pile feels smooth, lustrous and soft. It is best suited to gentle everyday use, with short fringe at each end. Gentle vacuuming with the beater bar off keeps the fibers smooth.
