The design draws on the classical allover repeat of small rosettes and diamond lattices that has defined Persian carpet making for centuries, rendered here across a black field in rose, red, and ivory with accents of navy, green, and peach. A wide floral border in deep rose and black frames the field with scrolling palmettes and vine work, echoing the fineness of the interior pattern while giving the whole composition a formal, finished edge.
