Nice colors and geometric pattern

I really like the beige/tuape gray/black colors and the geometric pattern of the rug, it goes nicely with my traditional farmhouse decor. I didn't expect the rug to be stiff. I saw hand knotted finish and expected the backing to be more natural (softer) and not glued like a synthetic carpet. I bought the 1/4" rug pad which is good quality. Since the pad and rug are on carpet the rug doesn't lie flush along the sides but raised up a tad. I still like it but wish it laid nicer along the side. It does feel plush under foot.
