Bring natural warmth to your home with this hand-knotted Superfine Chobi wool rug. Anchored by a soft taupe and dusty rose-brown field, this transitional area rug is layered with ivory, warm tan, and moss green floral palmettes that give your space a classic, grounded look. Master artisans hand-knot high-spin wool into a dense, low-pile weave that feels wonderful underfoot. Exceptionally durable and naturally pet-friendly, it stands up smoothly to daily foot traffic, making it a beautiful foundation for busy family rooms and bedrooms alike. *Note: The color of your rug may appear slightly different in person than it does on screen. This happens because device displays tend to oversaturate color, and because the pile's height causes it to catch and reflect light differently depending on the direction it's brushed, which can shift how a shade looks from one angle to the next. We've done our best to photograph this rug in a way that reflects its true tone, and we'd recommend watching the video below for a more accurate sense of its colors before you order. If you're still unsure, feel free to give us a call and we're happy to walk you through it.

Chobi rugs have a rich lineage rooted in Persian, Turkman and Afghan cultures. Woven in the Peshawar region of Pakistan, these rugs reflect the rugged terrain they are manufactured in. In fact, the word “Chobi” signifies colors of wood. So, it is highly significant that the majority of Chobi rugs have brownish hue. This rug has been made with vegetable dye and finest quality of hand-spun lanolin rich wool. It is the use of such vegetable dyes that give Chobi Peshawar their distinctive abrash quality (gently wavering shades of color across the pile), and their distinctive character.
